Mendota Heights
This school teaches pre-school through high school age children. The first project included the construction of a 8,050 square foot Early Learning Center providing day care, extended day, and Montessori classrooms The next phase was the new 27,550 square foot Athletic Facility which included a gymnasium with bleachers and concession area, a training and fitness center, locker-rooms, offices and classroom, and a 2,800 square foot rehearsal/dance room. The existing parking lot was redesigned to accommodate the new additions and new entries. Walkways and landscaping were designed to allow the building to blend into the suburban environment and provide a warm, inviting experience to students entering the building. The final phase included a 3 story 30,000 square foot middle school and upper school classroom addition providing 12 new classrooms, a student commons area, offices, several conference rooms, storage and support areas, and a new student drop-off entry and elevator. The addition was designed to blend with the existing building and to save several mature trees on the site.
